Congratulations, Manan!

Alhamdulillah all praise to Allah The Almighty - the viva for Letchumanan, my PhD student from Computer Education Program went smoothly. The external examiner was Prof Zaidatun from UTM and the internal was Dr Norhafizah.  

Although the original date for viva was postponed due to Covid 19, the outcome was satisfactory enough. Manan was given 3 months correction time which means a minor correction. It was a relief once we heard the result. Thanks to Dr Siti, my 'other half', who has given a tremendous support to Manan throughout his PhD endeavour. 

To my other supervisees, please be positive. Although is it undeniable that a PhD journey might be different from one person to another, the rule is simple - your main competitor is not others but you and you yourself.  So have a trust in your own work, and never compare your performance with others. As long as you know what you are doing, follow the trail up to the end. And as a supervisor, I am always here to help and my prayer goes to all of you. 

Let's celebrate this little good news and take it as a motivation for you to get going :)
