I will be sharing more tips on how to use AR in teaching and learning activities that will help develop students' collaborative skills and creativity. There are a lot of possibilities when you use AR in teaching and learning process. Students will surely experience new, exciting thing when they are first exposed to AR!
If you have time, join me via FB Live! The details on out immersive Nano Workshop can be seen in the poster above.
Many of us may have heard about 'content creation' activities .. but 'content curation' might be something alien. This year I was given a chance again to share something handy at Nano Workshop, in conjunction with K-Novasi 2018 (my heartfelt thanks to Pengajaran UKM!) and this time around I chose to talk about Feedly.
It is an online tool (it comes in mobile apps too) that all of us can gain benefits from. All this while, I myself was more familiar with Storify - another cool content curation tool. Unfortunately I recently learned that this application will no longer be accessible starting from May, 16 :(
I have came across Feedly few months ago and gave it a try. I was amazed upon knowing how easy and practical this tool is. It helps us to reorganize the websites and sources that we frequently refer to and keep them in one place. Users may choose any sources that they want to read later and put the 'read later' label and all the labelled sources will fall under 'Read Later' menu. What a great tool!
And yes, alternatively, users may integrate Feedly with Pocket, another smart app that can be used as a 'read later' site. I have Pocket on my smartphone too, so whenever I am on the go and have much time, I will go to Pocket and start reading the sources that I wanted to. So why don't you give it a try?
Happy curating guys! ^___^
Bismillah .. I shall start this very new year with a Nano Workshop in conjunction with K-Novasi 2018. This time around, I will be sharing tips and related theories and approaches on how to develop students' sense of agency through content curation activities.
See you there!
I have never thought that being an active user of any applications can be this exciting! Thanks to Piktochart for this acknowledgement. But before that, I would like to say my heartfelt thanks to Jacqueline Jensen who initiated our Skype conversation prior to the PiktoTourBangi Event, held on Thursday, 21st September 2017. What a fruitful discussion it was!
I am also thanking all the Piktochart team members (Iris Leung, Marta Olszewska, & Romina Viola, who get me in touch for the preparation of this blog post (the questions were really tricky guys! ^__^) and it was a good write up Iris!
It has been more than 3 years since I started using Piktochart and trust me, it is a worth! If you do not have enough skills in designing visuals, Piktochart has the solution. Ready made templates will help you create your own stuffs in no time. They - people at Piktochart are generously helpful too! And what is more, there are hundreds of useful blog entries that you can refer to!
Thanks again Piktochart! ^___^
Alhamdulillah all praise to Allah The Almighty who gave us a time to gather and experience the process of developing Augmented Reality material! I am truly thankful for your attendance and resilience to be there until the end of the session. Congratulations! You can now claim yourself as AR developers! ^__^ Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any queries!
